UFC Oklahoma City post-fight bonuses: Kevin Lee, Tim Boetsch among 50K winners

Get the Full StoryCheck out our breakdown of the post-fight bonuses from UFC Fight Night: Chiesa vs. Lee in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We tell you who won, who didn t and why. The Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was home to a stinky night of fights with four T KOs, one submission and eight decisions including a split decision and a majority decision. We also saw B.J. Penn decided to wear his shorts inside out, and a fighter pulled a Sylvia all over the Octagon as well.

Performances of the Night: Jeremy Kimball, Dominick Reyes, Tim Boestch and Kevin Lee

Jeremy Kimball knocked a guy out with a standing hammerfist to the ear. Just straight up Thor-punched a dude in the side of the face. It was ridiculous, but the kind of ridiculous that gets you a 50,000 bonus from Dana White.

Dominick Reyes made his UFC debut tonight with plenty of hype behind him. He lived up to it, taking only 29 seconds to knock out Joachim Christensen, dropping him twice in that time period. The Light Heavyweight division is lacking exciting young prospects, but Reyes might just fit the bill. He made a cool 50 G s in bonus cash to accompany his maiden UFC victory.

Tim Boestch might have more underdog wins than anyone in the history of the UFC. It seems like every single time he s supposed to lose, he finds a way to win. This time he knocked out an overweight Johny Hendricks with a headkick followed up by his crazy-but-effective hockey uppercuts. The veteran made 50k in bonus money and 20 of Johny Hendricks purse. It s red panty night at The Barbarian s house.

Kevin Lee proved he can walk the walk tonight after showing he definitely knows how to talk the talk. After all the back and forth between Lee and Chiesa before the fight, the bout itself was pretty one-sided. Lee was winning pretty comfortably, including landing a huge slam, and finally got Chiesa in a deep rear-naked choke. Chiesa stopped fighting the choke and seemed to be going out, which led Mario Yamasaki to wave the fight off. Chiesa started protesting immediately, suggesting he perhaps wasn t as unconscious as he d seemed, and the controversial finish unfortunately overshadowed an impressive performance by the Motown Phenom.

I doubt Lee is too broken up about the turn of events with an extra 50,000 in his pocket and a new rivalry with top contender Tony Ferguson on the horizon after an argument on the UFC s post-fight show.
