Apple cider is great, but it screams Fall. Pineapple cider, on the other hand, is exactly what you'll want to crack open all Summer long, and thanks to a cider company based in Portland, OR, the alcoholic pineapple drink of your dreams exists. Reverend Nat's Hard Cider makes something called Viva La Pineapple, which is a fruity cider made with both Granny Smith apples and fresh pineapple juice, plus a hint of cinnamon. Its alcohol by volume is 6 percent, and, according to Reverend Nat's cider menu, it's his "sweetest libation."

This unique pineapple cider is inspired by another of the company's pineapple-based drinks, Tepache, which is Nat's take on the traditional Mexican beverage made by fermenting pineapples no apples involved . Viva La Pineapple, on the other hand, has the tartness of green apples combined with the sweetness of pineapples. "Inspired by my much-renowned traditional tepache, this apple-y, pineapple-y cider is ready-to-drink and easy to drink," the cider maker says of Viva La Pineapple. The pineapple cider is growing in popularity and, based on the grocery-store sign shown above, it's the definition of irresistible. "I'm allergic to pineapples, and I continued to drink this well after the hives broke out," the sign reads. We're not exactly encouraging that, but the cider must be good.
