Airbnb offers free housing to those affected by Barcelona attacks

After a van drove through crowds on Thursday, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens more, Airbnb activated its disaster response tool to help connect people in need of shelter and other accommodations with hosts in the area who've chosen to open their homes for free.

"Airbnb has activated our Disaster Response Tool to assist those affected by the tragic events in Barcelona," Arnaldo Munoz, Airbnb Country Manager for Spain, said in a statement.
