UFC flyweight Paige VanZant: I think I would for sure be a good WWE diva

Get the Full StoryPaige VanZant is entertaining the idea of venturing into professional wrestling with the WWE. Former UFC women s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has been in the headlines recently, but none of them are related to her MMA career. Instead, Rousey has been reportedly headed towards a career in professional wrestling with the WWE.

Like how she helped pave the way for women in mixed martial arts, Rousey is once again leading the charge for other women to possibly transition into professional wrestling. One of those who may follow her footsteps is UFC flyweight Paige VanZant.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, 12 Gauge said a WWE career is something that is definitely on her radar.

I love the WWE, VanZant said. I think I would for sure be a good WWE diva. For sure.

If the knock comes to my door, I m taking it. I love the WWE; I have the personality for it.

When was asked about being possibly matched up against Rousey in the WWE ring, VanZant says she welcomes the idea.

That would be interesting, VanZant said. I think that they might have to allow some real shots to be fired.

The two women were said to have been involved in a confrontation a couple of years back, where Rousey allegedly cussed out VanZant at a VIP party and called her a fair-weathered bitch for congratulating Holly Holm after UFC 193.

VanZant last saw action on Sunday at UFC St. Louis, where she lost to Jessica-Rose Clark via unanimous decision.
