These French Ice Dancers Had a Wardrobe Malfunction, but They Handled It Like Champs

In the short program on Feb. 18, Gabriella and Guillaume earned a score of 81.93, and there's no question they gave an incredible performance. Unfortunately, at the very beginning of the program, Gabriella suffered a slight wardrobe malfunction that had an impact on their skate.

The clasp on the back of her neck came slightly undone when Guillaume reached around her upper back, and it was pretty impossible not to notice. Even the commentators saw it and noted that it likely affected their performance. The internet certainly couldn't ignore it either. . .

But Gabriella and Guillaume made it all the way to the end! They still landed all their twizzles and lifts, and the crowd truly loved the whole routine, which was set to Ed Sheeran's ever-so-popular "Shape of You." Their score was high enough to put them in second place, right behind Tessa and Scott. On Feb. 19, all teams will perform the free skate, so we'll see who will end up on the podium.
