Lisa Bonet Wasn’t Really Surprised By The Allegations Against Bill Cosby

Get the Full StoryWhen dozens of allegations against Bill Cosby came back up in 2015, everyone had an opinion on America’s Dad, including America’s Dad’s children. For example, Rudy Huxtable made it real clear that she loves Bill Cosby, and will most likely be tearfully tossing a Jell-O jiggler onto his coffin when he dies.

Around that time, Zoe Kravitz gave an impromptu statement on behalf of Denise Huxtable her mom Lisa Bonet , saying that it was news to Lisa and that she was “disgusted and concerned.” Lisa is finally talking for herself, and says she isn’t surprised.

Lisa was asked during a recent interview with Net-a-Porter if the sexual misconduct allegations tainted her memory of shooting The Cosby Show. She answered, “No, it’s exactly as I remember it.” She was then asked if she had any sense that Bill was creeping on women. Lisa Bonet is actually a spirit that was born from a quartz crystal, so her answer is very Lisa Bonet:

“There was no knowledge on my part about his specific actions, but…There was just energy. And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed. Always sensed a darkness . And if I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago. That’s my nature. The truth will set you free.”

Bill Cosby and Lisa Bonet have always had a rough relationship; she was fired in 1991 from The Cosby Show due to “creative differences.” Lisa might like to say, “I told you so,” about Bill Cosby’s current situation, but she won’t, because it’s all up to fate and the universe and whatnot.

“I don’t need to say, ‘I told you so.’ I just leave all that to karma and justice and what will be.”

Allegations made by one of Bill’s many accusers, Andrea Constand, went to court, but it ended in a mistrial. A retrial is scheduled for next month. Karma may be real, but unless it’s picked to serve on that jury, I don’t know. Our best bet is Lisa Bonet. If anyone is able to communicate with the elements, it’s her. Like sending good energy vibrations through the earth and into the graphite of the jury’s pencils, and encouraging them to write “Guilty AF” if their spirit so feels inclined.
