The Dark Heart of Jason Voorhees is a documentary that promises to deep dive into the creation of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, perhaps the most infamous addition to the Friday the 13th series, well, ever.

Directed by Adam Marcus, the nerve-wracking slasher originally premiered in 1993, and soon became the horror flick everyone loved to hate. This hotly-anticipated doc hopes to get to the bottom of that controversy, and while we’ve yet to receive word of an official release date, the suitably epic poster art has emerged online for your viewing pleasure, one which cuts to the chase and casts light on the sequel’s most iconic moment.
