Cerrone happy to be alive after catastrophic dive in Mexico

Get the Full StoryDonald Cerrone reveals he had a brush with death during a recent dive in Mexico. UFC welterweight contender Donald Cerrone is a known adrenaline junkie. In many instances, Cowboy would be seen wakeboarding and bull riding, sometimes during the week of the fight itself.

One of his recent extreme adventures, however, almost did not end well for him. In an Instagram post he put up on Friday, Cowboy revealed experiencing a total silt out during a dive in Mexico, where he had absolute zero visibility underwater.

Today I can honestly say I m Happy to be alive. We had catastrophic worst case scenario on our dive. Total silt out , lost the cave line and lost my buddy couldn t see my own hands was the most scariest moment to this day in my life. I remember kissing Danger and Lindsay and saying I ll see y all soon, don t worry daddy s coming home!!!! The 35-year-old Cerrone is currently slated to face Mike Perry at the UFC s event in his hometown of Denver, Colorado on November 10th.
