Looks like negotiations with the UFC went pretty smoothly, as he told ESPN that they have already come to terms on a deal.

This means that the agreed rematch with Chris Weidman is pushing through, and will happen at UFC 230 in Madison Square Garden.

The pair originally fought in 2015, with Weidman losing his middleweight title to Rockhold after a fourth round TKO. They ve had a rough stretch since the bout, dealing with multiple injuries and both going 1-2 in the next couple of years.

UFC 230 will have Nate Diaz vs. Dustin Poirier on the line up. With this added bout, the MSG card will also host eight of the top ten middleweights in the UFC.
