Guillard, Neer, TUF vet sign with bare-knuckle fighting promotion

A new bare-knuckle fighting organization is trying to bring together some well-known names for their first event on October. On the heels of signing Chris Leben and Phil Baroni, the World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation took to social media to announce the signings of UFC veterans Melvin Guillard and Josh Neer, along with TUF 26 contestant Christina Marks.

Guillard 32-21-2, 3 NC competed in the UFC 22 times, going 12-9 with one No Contest. After being released in 2014, he moved onto World Series of Fighting and Bellator with little success before taking some fights in Asia and Australia. He most recently fought Takanori Gomi in Rizin, getting stopped in the first round. He is 0-8 with 1 NC in his last nine.

Neer 36-16-1 had a few runs in the UFC, posting a record of six wins and nine losses overall. He hasn t competed in MMA since January 2016, and has lost his last three bouts overall.

Marks 8-10 had one UFC bout, a submission loss to Montana De La Rosa. Her last bout came in March in Invicta, where she was stopped by Milana Dudieva.

It should be noted that the World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation is not the same as BKFC, which recently held their first event in Wyoming.
