Get the Full StoryArtem Lobov will meet Zubaira Tukhugov in the Octagon at UFC Moncton on October 27th. The UFC has added a featherweight matchup to their card taking place in Moncton, Canada on October 27th, as Artem Lobov will fight Zubaira Tukhugov.

Last week, a report surfaced that Lobov and Tukhugov would meet at UFC 229 on October 6th. However, the UFC confirmed the matchup as official for Moncton through social media after Red Fury MMA reported the fight was in the works for the event.

Lobov 13-14-1 was supposed to fight back at UFC 223 in April, but the Russian was pulled from the card after his involvement in an attack on a bus with his teammate Conor McGregor just a few days prior to the event. The Russian Hammer is 1-3 in his last four fights, not picking up a win since November 2016 when he defeated Teruto Ishihara by decision.

Tukhugov 18-4 had his nine-fight winning streak snapped by Renato Moicano in his last UFC appearance that took place over two years ago in May 2016. The 27-year-old will return to the octagon after serving a two-year ban from USADA after testing positive for ostarine.

UFC Moncton will take place on October 27th at the Moncton Events Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. The card will be headlined by a light heavyweight contest between Volkan Oezdemir and rising contender Anthony Smith.
