Bojan Velickovic has a new opponent for the next round of the Professional Fighters League welterweight tournament, and he has a famous last name to boot. On it s official Twitter account, PFL announced the change.

A six-fight UFC veteran, Bojan Velickovic 16-7-1 started his PFL run with a TKO win over Jonathan Westin back in July, but was bested via unanimous decision in his next outing, against Magomed Magomedkerimov. However, he still scored enough points to qualify for the tournament s playoffs.

Abubakar Nurmagomedov 15-2 got a new chance to get back into the tournament after Zeferino s injury. Originally set for a bout against Yuri Villefort as alternates in case someone else got hurt, Khabib s cousin is now back into contention for the prize. During his PFL run, Abubakar was finished via rear-naked choke by Pavel Kusch, but bounced back with an unanimous decision win against Jonathan Westin, which was not enough to qualify him for the playoffs.

Bojan Velickovic is now scheduled to take on Abubakar Nurmagomedov at PFL 10, on October 20, in Washington D.C..
