Cardi B's Sermon About the Government Shutdown Was Turned Into a Song, and It's a Bop

Get the Full StoryCardi B recently held nothing back when she addressed the current government shutdown that's plaguing the nation. The shutdown, which is in place largely due to disagreements over President Trump's fiscal plans for building a wall on the border of the U.S. and Mexico, began in December. Since then, it has left about 800,000 federal workers without pay, wondering how they're going to cover the cost of living.

Cardi took to Instagram on Jan. 17 to voice her concerns for the federal workers while also calling out the Trump administration for their part in what is now the longest government shutdown in history. "I just wanna remind y'all that it's been a little bit over three weeks," she says in the video. "Trump is now ordering - as in summonsing - federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid. This sh t is really f cking serious. This sh t is crazy. Our country is in a hellhole right now. All for a f cking wall."

Shortly after Cardi posted the video, The Gregory Brothers - a quartet and musical comedians - created a remix of her rant and titled it "Yeah B tch Nah B tch," which is set to the beat of Cardi's hit song "Bodak Yellow." And you know what? It ACTUALLY slaps. Like, it could really top quite a few charts, and the internet seems to agree. People can't get enough of the "new" song, and are waiting for it to become an official track. Ahead, listen to the political tune before reading some of the most hilarious responses!
