Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Gives Brilliant Speech at Women's March: "This Is About Justice"

Get the Full StoryNewly-elected New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez empowered crowds as she took the stage at two Women's Marches in NYC on Jan. 19. The 29-year-old politician, and the youngest woman ever elected to Congress, gave compelling speeches to the march attendees and encouraged them to pursue justice endlessly.

"Justice is not a concept we read about in a book. Justice is about the water we drink. Justice is about the air we breathe. Justice is about how easy it is to vote. Justice is about how much ladies get paid," Ocasio-Cortez said. "Justice is about making sure that being polite is not the same thing as being quiet. In fact, oftentimes the most righteous thing you can do is shake the table."
