Video: Broner rants, cries robbery vs. Pacquiao he clearly lost

Get the Full StoryAdrien Broner was not close to beating Manny Pacquiao. Adrien broner disagrees with reality. In front of an adoring crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Manny Pacquiao 61-7-2, 39 KOs outboxed, outfoxed, and outworked Adrien Broner 33-4-1-1 NC, 24 KOs on his way to a dominant unanimous decision win. Broner was hurt in round seven and staggered in round ten, but did not get knocked down. The scorecards read 117-111, 116-112, and 116-112 all for Pacquiao, and Showtime s Steve Farhood argued that those 116-112s were generous to Broner.

Broner, who raised his arms in victory at the end of the fight, was given a whopping 58 seconds on the microphone by Showtime Boxing interviewer Jim Gray. Of course, he decided to turn it into a rant against the world and a conspiracy that he was robbed.

I beat him! Broner said. Everybody out there know I beat him. I controlled the fight. He was missing, I hit him clean more times, I beat him!

Pacquiao outlanded Broner 112-50, and the power punch count was 82-22. Broner never landed more than eight punches in a single round, and a 147 lbs fighter only throwing 295 punches in a 36-minute fight is not particularly high-volume. In other words, the fight wasn t close. It was never close. Broner was never in serious position to tilt the fight in his favor.

Y all know I beat that boy, he continued. What they re trying to do is get that money again with Pacquiao and Floyd, but it s cool. I ain t worrying about it.

Gray told him he s 3-3-1 in his last seven he could ve told him he s 0-2-1 in his last three to hammer home the point and Broner closed the interview by basically saying he could kick Jim Gray s ass in the ring.

Hey, I m 3-3-1 in my last seven, but I d be 7-0 against you.

Gray responded, Well, that wouldn t mean much.

Here s the full video of this interview, in what is ideally the last time Broner ever touches anything close to resembling a high-profile fight.
