Dwayne Johnson Beams With Joy as He Reveals His Daughter Simone Is "Now NYU Bound"

Get the Full StoryDwayne Johnson was all smiles on Friday as he celebrated 17-year-old daughter Simone's high school graduation. The 47-year-old actor shared a couple of sweet snapshots of him posing with Simone as they flashed bright smiles to capture the special moment. In one photo, Dwayne and Simone stand side-by-side while the graduate holds a Marvel-inspired cap with the Captain America and Bucky Barnes logos. The second picture shows Dwayne attempting to kiss his little girl as she laughs and tries to dodge the sappy gesture.

"And then your babies graduate," Dwayne captioned the post. "Very proud of my first daughter graduating high school, kickin' ass and is now NYU bound. I love you and one day you'll stop pulling away from my beastly arms & kisses." Simone seemed to appreciate the shout out, commenting, "Love you, thank you for coming," accompanied by a heart emoji.

It's no surprise that the father of three daughters - Simone, whom he shares with ex-wife Dany Garcia, as well as 3-year-old Jasmine and 1-year-old Tiana, whom he shares with longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian - got a bit emotional on the big day. He previously opened up about his firstborn in an episode of Oprah's Master Class, saying, "When I held her when she was born, I held her in these two hands and I said to her, 'I will always, always take care of you, for the rest of your life. You are safe.'"

They grow up so fast!
