Lightweight veteran Francisco Trinaldo expects some kind of compensation from the UFC after his controversial loss to Alexander Hernandez at UFC San Antonio. Lightweight veteran Francisco Trinaldo won t just sit and accept his controversial unanimous decision loss to Alexander Hernandez at UFC San Antonio.

After a fight that didn t see much action after three rounds, the up-and-coming Hernandez was awarded the win against the Brazilian. However, many MMA fans, journalists ,and professional fighters did not agree with the scorecards.

Trinaldo himself feels the same way. Sharing his thoughts on his Instagram page, where he said Hernandez did nothing but run away from him throughout the entire fifteen minutes, which, in his opinion, was not enough to make him win the bout.

.... .... I went into the octagon today and gave it all for this fight. I went into the Octagon today and gave it all for this fight. I fought a younger opponent and I certainly won the fight, but the judges unfortunately gave it to my opponent. I think the least I deserve is the victory bonus for this fight, Trinaldo wrote.

You guys know I fought a great fight, I landed the best shots, Francisco said in the video. I want to make an appeal to my fans. Let s go after this win. I train every single day. I m at the gym everyday, all my mates know. My opponent didn t want to fight, he only wanted to run. The best shots were mine, everyone saw that. So, Dana White , if this video reaches you, I want my win bonus.

Before the loss to Hernandez, Francisco Trinaldo 23-7 scored a TKO win over Evan Dunham back in September 2018. The win came after a unanimous decision setback to James Vick in February of the same year. In fact, with his UFC San Antonio defeat, Massaranduba has now been alternating wins and losses ever since 2017. The last time the 40-year-old put a win streak together, he won seven straight fights, spanning from 2014 to 2016.
