A Nashville Influencer Denies She Faked A Motorcycle Accident For Instagram

Get the Full StoryPossibly faking a motorcycle accident for the Likes?! I don t know what stage of the Apocalypse this will mark but I know it s one of the late ones. Buzzfeed News says that there s another influencer making headlines for their interesting choice of content-creation, which this time features the influencer suffering a motorcycle accident complete with a bottle of Smartwater in frame with the logo showing to us, the audience. The Kardashians have a new God!

Tiffany Mitchell is a lifestyle blogger she does nothing her job is going to brunch and baking pies she does nothing based in Nashville with over 211,000 followers on her Instagram page. Recently she s been accused of some pure messiness when she posted what looks to be highly-staged photos of her motorcycle accident.

People started throwing her a side-eye because well, check em out for yourself:

I mean she literally has the Smartwater bottle on display. There is no way you are not supposed to see this accident and think, Oh good someone gave her a hydrating bottle of Smartwater. But Tiffany assures us we re assuming the worst! Her friend just took impromptu well-angled shots of her in a horrible painful accident where her face looks perfectly made up and scratch-free. Which is what most people look like after being thrown from a motorcycle wearing overalls and a tank top.

Tiffany says she would never turn a very important personal story like this into a brand campaign I m sad that some people are taking it that way.

Tiffany also requested that BuzzFeed News not write their story since it would draw negative attention. Gotta love it when the influencers who make their living off of attention then decide they need to control when they receive it.

She also continued to pull our dicks by saying the photographer friend was simply driving alongside her and took the photos of her. The friend then kept snapping pictures as Tiffany lay on the ground in pain, as friends do. In her post, Tiff calls the accident unreal that is definitely a way to describe this situation . She says that strangers helped her before an ambulance arrived:

We all drove back to my house with a green light from angels that cleaned me up in the ambulance, sat with our new friends listening to music and laughing until I fell asleep.

And of course, the Internet didn t buy what Tiffany is selling Smartwater :

How are people commenting on this like it s normal?

Genuinely I am perplexed by the idea of a friend snapping angles right next to your head post-motorcycle crash. What the fuck?!

Paid in partnership with Smartwater

The pictures were hilarious. You re either a satirical genius or completely shameless.

But Tiffany still swears this was not staged:

Nothing about this was staged. I m sad that some people are taking it that way, but it s just not the case I didn t know she was taking them, but later on when she showed them to me I was so grateful that she captured such an intense moment for me I would never turn a very important personal story like this into a brand campaign the water was given to me while I was resting.

Well, at the very least, Tiffany has truly leveled up Smartwater s marketing bar. Next up we can expect to see Jennifer Aniston get into a car accident because of her dry eyes and then she ll be healed by a, you guessed it, bottle of Smartwater.
