Rihanna recently discussed political issues, especially immigration and gun control, in a cover story for Vogue's November issue.

She said that President Donald Trump's treatment of gun violence is "racist" because he describes it as "a mental health problem" instead of terrorism.

"Put an Arab man with that same weapon in that same Walmart and there is no way that Trump would sit there and address it publicly as a 'mental health problem,'" she said. "The most mentally ill human being in America right now seems to be the president."
