Ray Fisher Called Out Joss Whedon On Twitter For Being Gross And Unprofessional On The Set Of Justice League

Get the Full StoryJoss Whedon s affable feminist nerd persona went up in smoke the minute his ex-wife Kai Cole very publicly read him for filth, accusing him of emotional abuse, serial cheating, and of being a wolf in feminist clothing. Previously, his good-guy feminist credentials were called into question after Twitter called him to task for his treatment of Black Widow in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which he wrote and directed. Now, Ray Fisher who played Cyborg in Justice League has taken a page from Kai s playbook and put Joss on blast claiming his treatment of the cast and crew on that film was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Sadly, unlike Kai, Ray has yet to offer up any of the juicy details that make this kind of thing fun. He s got us all sitting here with eyeball emojis waiting to hear what s good!

It s crazy how much drama Justice League has generated considering the fact that nobody bothered to see it. Joss stepped in to direct JL after its original director, Zack Snyder, dropped out due to a family tragedy. According to IndieWire, Joss was brought in to do reshoots and finish post-production, and to inject a lighter tone and more jokes into the theatrical release. Safe to say, the joke s now on Joss. Here s what Ray had to say about him on Twitter.

Joss Wheadon s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.

He was enabled, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.

A couple of days ago, Ray posted this clip from a ComicCon press conference, taking back the nice things he had to say about Joss at the time of the film s release. The look on Jason Momoa s face here is priceless, in retrospect. Then again, Jason s face always priceless.

I d like to take a moment to forcefully retract every bit of this statement: pic.twitter.com 1ECwwu6TG1

So far, Joss hasn t responded and neither has anybody else from the cast. But you can bet everybody involved is keeping a close eye out to see who s gonna break bad next.

Fans were so mad at Joss version of JL, they successfully campaigned to have Warner Bros. issue a Snyder cut of the movie, which will be coming to HBO Max in 2021.

The Snyder cut is expected to cost Warner Bros. well over 30 million. The Whedon cut cost 300 million to produce and market. The Snyder cut is expected to be released as either a four-hour movie or in television-style chapters. Snyder is confirmed to be working with the film s original crew to complete VFX and score. Cast members are expected to be brought back for any newly recorded dialogue that s needed.

Oh God, Poor Ben Affleck. As we know, his Batman went out with a whimper instead of his customary cartoon BANG!, and Ben probably thought he d never have to think about it again. Now he might have to go back in and grunt into a microphone. Maybe that s why he recently gave his beard the Just For Men treatment. Thinking about having to go back to being Batman probably turned his beard from salt and pepper zaddy to straight-up Rip Van Winkle overnight.

But I guess this gives us a little insight into Ben s aversion to masks.
