Bethe Correia and Evan Dunham have been cut from the UFC. The UFC has announced that women s bantamweight Bethe Correia and longtime lightweight Evan Dunham have been released from the promotion.

Officials announced the releases to MMA Fighting on Wednesday.

After once challenging for the women s bantamweight title against Ronda Rousey, Correia 11-5-1 is being given her walking papers after seven years in the UFC. The Brazilian known as Pitbull failed to ever put together a successful winning streak following her loss to Rousey in 2015.

Other than wins against Jessica Eye and Sijara Eubanks, Correia was stopped by the likes of Holly Holm and Irene Aldana. The 37-year-old most recently lost a decision to Pannie Kianzad at UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till last month.

Dunham 18 9 1 has spent eleven years fighting in the UFC racking up a total of 21 fights for the promotion. The 38-year-old struggled to ever break into the upper echelon of the lightweight division during his time in the UFC, but he still was gritty contender picking up wins against the fighters such as Ross Pearson and Joe Lauzon.

Without a win since 2016, Dunham s release from the UFC comes after he dropped his last three fights to Herbert Burns, Francisco Trinaldo and Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
