As New Jersey entered lockdown in March, Alexa was sent home from her job at a dental office. Like so many others, she rarely ventured out of the house in the following weeks, save for two grocery trips. I was very nervous about it, she says of the coronavirus. Probably even a little more so because I work in the medical field. Under normal circumstances, Alexa sang in a band by night, and while quarantined, she started sharing Facebook livestreams of herself singing.
