Bow Wow Responded To The Shit He Got For Performing For A Packed Crowd In Houston

Get the Full StoryMove over, Trey Songz, there s another mess performing at super-spreader musical events, but this one has got me all the way confused and disheartened. Growing Up Hip-Hop s Shad Bow Wow Moss, formerly known as Lil Bow Wow, rapped for a packed audience during a pandemic. Page Six says 33-year-old Bow Wow performed at a nightclub in Houston over the weekend. If we weren t in a pandemic, the big news would be Bow Wow bringing in a crowd in 2021.

In the video posted online, Bow Wow is seen singing his 2005 song Like You for a nightclub filled with a bunch of people who decided Bow Wow is worth the risk:

TMZ says the event was actually for a club promoter s birthday:

The rapper was one of a handful of artists who showed up Friday night to Cle Houston for a bash celebrating club promoter Larry Morrow s birthday with some footage from the event leaking online, showing just how packed it got packed and mostly unmasked.

And Bow Wow has been called out before for performing at big parties and replied he needs to get my paper.

This is what Bow Wow recently wrote in response to someone pointing out the dangers of COVID after he plugged a party he was set to attend for Growing Up Hip Hop Im masked up. I gotta get my paper. I follow protocol. 2020 i wasnt sick all year! Never in my life has that happen. 365 days I NEVER GOT SICK ONE TIME. Interesting take, BW.

The internet roasted everyone involved and Zach Braff even got into it:

I thought about it and have decided I m not willing to die for Bow Wow. https: t.co xuPxBKKB1X

Fans of the Bow Wow yes, he still has those defended him by saying other celebrities were at the club event too, like Meek Mill and J. Prince Jr. But counterpoint: Fuck them, also!

E! News says Bow Wow did hop on Twitter to defend himself although he ended up deleting his messages, I wonder why? LOL.

Man I been hosting parties all last year. I wore my mask in the club. I can t host with that thing on, one message read, with the musician claiming he wore his mask up until he performed his 2005 hit track, Like You.

That s the thing IT WASN T MY PARTY. But of course ima get the blame, he shared in another tweet. I don t want folks thinking I don t care ya know

In a separate post, the 33-year-old singer revealed that he was tested for COVID-19 twice. He also noted, Keep sanitizer on me at all times.

But the Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, wasn t having it and tweeted that Bow Wow s on notice:

These events that are scheduled with BowWowPromoTeam today in Houston are on our radar. Other bars clubs that are operating as restaurants, beyond capacity and social distancing requirements, please expect visits. Today we report 1964 new cases and 17 more deaths. st

Bow Wow took it very well:

Safe to say the mayor of houston hates my guts. I cant believe i get the blame for a whole weekend. This is ridiculous.

Poor Bow Wow getting all the blame. Hopefully, that promoter paid him well. Bow Wow should just be grateful for all the attention. I can t imagine him getting a headline or packing a crowd under normal circumstances. It would make more sense to me if people crowded a club to watch his daughter with Joie Chavis do a TikTok dance than to see him:

Even a 95 video chat with Tori Spelling is a better use of money than this!
