On Sunday, June 25, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joined thousands of citizens as he marched in the Toronto Pride Parade alongside his wife and two kids. Donning rainbow socks and a rainbow maple leaf temporary tattoo on his cheek, Trudeau was beaming with LGBTQ pride. He stopped for hugs and high fives and truly showed his support for the community.
While President Donald Trump has refused to acknowledge Pride Month, Trudeau has made history celebrating equality. Last year, Trudeau became the first sitting prime minister to march in a Pride parade, and he continued to show his support this year by walking at the head of the parade.

Before marching with his family, the Prime Minister opened up about the importance of the parade. "We celebrate the multiple layers of identities that make Canada extraordinary and strong and today we celebrate with the entire LGBTQ community," he told reporters.
