Just as Ferreira seemed to be finding his groove, he accidentally kicked Gordon in the cup once again, resulting in another break in the action. The bout continued and Ferreira cracked his foe with a heavy left hook, and dove on Gordon without hesitation. Ferreira pinned the arm behind Gordon s back with one hand and punched his head repeatedly with the other, prompting the referee to step in and end the fight.

Lucie Pudilova def. Sarah Moras by Unanimous Decision 29-28 x2, 29-27 : W Bantamweight

Moras cracked with a well placed head kick that stunned her opponent right off the bat, and used the opportunity to score a takedown. The punches and elbows of Moras were landing on the regular, but for some reason, the referee decided to stand up the athletes. Pudilova made the most of the moment by landing some damaging strikes, blooding the face of Moras before dropping her. From her back, Moras managed to lock up a pretty tight Armbar, but Pudilova escaped and started punching for the remaining seconds of the round.

Moras attempted a double leg to open the 2nd stanza, but was forced to pull guard instead, locking up another Armbar attempt. Pudilova escaped the sub again by slamming her opponent, but wasn t on top for very long before getting caught in an Inverted Triangle. Again, Pudilova thwarted the submission attempt, but this time decided to return to her feet. Another stiff cross dropped Moras in the closing moments, but Moras recovered quickly and made it back to her feet before the round expired.

Pudilova continued to outland her opposition on the feet to start the final round, stuffing the telegraphed takedown attempts from Moras. A takedown finally materialized for Moras with about 90 seconds left in the fight, but was unable to do much with the position.
