Game Of Thrones Fans Started A Petition To The Showrunners Fired From Star Wars

Get the Full StoryGame of Thrones is over, so those of you who didn t watch it can stop practicing your fake smiles and nods to use when your co-workers, still want to discuss Wormfinger and Three-Eyed Sansas and Jon Snow s nipples to a nauseating degree. The subset of GoT fans that you could probably describe as a little too involved , however, are still frothing at the mouth over what they feel was a lackluster final season. Their petition to re-create season eight without the hated showrunners didn t accomplish anything despite 15 million signatures . So angry fans have begun a NEW petition to get David Benioff and D.B. Weiss thrown off of the planned Star Wars X so they don t ruin the franchise. Did they not see Solo? That pretty much did it.

Cinemablend reports that, in fact, there are multiple petitions trying to save the Rebel Alliance from those incompetent writers. Fanbases are some rabid ass people.

Here s the intro from one on Change.org that already has 11,000 signatures.

Seeing how these writers handled the most popular TV Show of a generation and seeing how the fans are reacting to it should not be rewarded with giving them the most popular movie franchise in the world!

It is in the company s best interest to remove David Benioff and D.B. Weiss as writers on their upcoming film. The writers have a crutch for plot devices and rushed stories, with emphasis on shock and awe storytelling and eager to leave projects half-finished when they have other projects on the horizon.

Their respect of lore alone does not make them fit for this project.

A narcissistic orange bigot liar who doesn t believe in climate change is currently in charge of our nuclear program and these guys are worrying if RD-2D s beeps will sound off correctly. Fellas .

There s no word on whether the GoT dudes will be heading up the next three Star Wars flicks or just the first one in the next trilogy after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which drops in December. There are fans, however, who are thrilled with Benioff and D.B. Weiss taking over because they were scared Rian Johnson was going to. He s the guy who wrote and directed Star Wars: The Last Jedi and plenty of these incel types HATE him and HATE that movie to the point of racist and misogynist attacks against the actors as well as death threats against Rian Johnson.

Look, if I had to deal with Season Six of Buffy which could have been sub-titled Buffy the Depressed Vampire Slayer Getting Done From Behind By Spike In The Bronze While Watching Her Friends Dance then these dudes can just deal with it. Season Six was rough.
