Get the Full StoryPeople reports that on Monday, Kevin Costner s wife, Christine Baumgartner, filed to legally quit his ass after nearly 19 years of marriage. Kevin s rep released a statement about their split, and it seems like he wants the divorce to happen as much as all of us want a sequel to Waterworld. His rep made it clear that the divorce is not his choice. But you know, in Hollywood marriage time, 18 years is practically forever, especially since Kevin and Christine s marriage kicked off with allegations of him sexually harassing a massage therapist during their honeymoon in Scotland.68-year-old Kevin Costner made 49-year-old Christine Baumgartner his second wife back in September 2004 after being together for six years. So they were together for almost 25 years but are not together anymore. Christine checked irreconcilable differences as the reason why their marriage is done. Christine also asked for joint custody of their three children, 15-year-old Cayden, 14-year-old Hayes, and 12-year-old Grace. Christine didn t ask for spousal support in her filing. TMZ adds that Kevin s divorce lawyer, THEE Laura Wasser, responded to the filing and said that spousal support will be payable to the petitioner pursuant to the terms of the parties Premarital Agreement.
Kevin s rep confirmed the split and threw in a cRyTPic bit by saying that he s been forced to participate in this divorce because of circumstances beyond his control. That makes it sound like she cheated. Or maybe he s pulling some my wandering peen has a mind of its own and wandered into a random cooch, which was beyond my control shit.

Before Christine, Kevin was married to Cindy Costner for 16 years until their divorce in 1994. It was rumored that Kevin and Cindy s marriage ended over his cheating ways. As for why Kevin and Christine split, Radar reported last year that Christine gave him an ultimatum about working on his show Yellowstone. Christine apparently wasn t happy about him being gone for months at a time to shoot the show in Montana and told him it was either Yellowstone or HER. But I m not sure if that s the reason for their split since Kevin has reportedly been trying to leave the show for months. And today, Entertainment Tonight claimed that he s done with Yellowstone and won t return to the show. Maybe it was too little, too late for Christine? I don t know, but I do know that the ghost of Joan Rivers, who roasted Kevin back in the day for getting Christine such a small engagement ring, is screaming, I CALLED IT!
