Jen Shah Of The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Is Demanding An Investigation After A Prison Picture Of Her Was Leaked

She began serving a 6 year prison sentence that s already been reduced by a year back in February for pleading guilty to wire fraud in a telemarketing lead generation scam that mostly targeted the elderly. Up until now, we ve only gotten a glimpse into her incarceration in the form of two badly written Jen s Diary entries on her website, which hilariously has a spot where you can provide your email address DON T . But a pic of her in prison recently surfaced, and now she wants an investigation to see who was behind the camera. And shocking to no one, her victims haven t seen a dime of the restitution she promised to pay back, so the Feds are hoping to garnish her The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City checks.

TMZ says a pic of Jen in her brown uniform walking in the yard of FPC Bryan in Texas came out earlier this month, and Jen caught wind when someone in the prison s visiting room showed it to her.

As for how she saw the photos we re told prison inmates use video monitors to speak with their families, and a neighboring inmate s family showed Jen the photos on the screen.

Jen, through her rep Chris Giovanni, tells TMZ, When I saw the photo and recognized the angle and location of where that photo was captured, I became immediately frightened.

Jen adds, I strongly believe the photo was not taken from the outside near the exterior gates, but rather deep inside the compound at FPC- Bryan.

She s now worried that someone on the inside could continue to photograph her in more vulnerable situations, so she wants an investigation to see if prison staff took the photo of her or let a photographer in to do it.

I am so worried that the next photo secretly taken of me could be in the shower, using the bathroom, or possibly changing my clothes.

Her insinuation is prison personnel took the photos, or prison staff is giving photogs access to take them.

Jen says she s grateful her husband Sharrieff plans to contact the Bureau of Prisons to ask for an investigation. We re told he s currently in the process of writing a letter expressing their concerns.

And The New York Post reports that neither Jen nor the other fraudsters who went down with her have paid anything towards the millions they owe to their victims, so the Feds are going after her dirty Bravo money.

Shah and her co-defendants were ordered to pay 6,746,378, and prosecutors said the restitution amount remains unpaid as of Thursday.

Manhattan federal prosecutors are asking a judge to sign off on an order to garnish 25 of the 49-year-old Bravolebrity s disposable earnings from Shed Media, Inc. the company that owns the Bravo show. The order says the earnings should continue to be paid to the court clerk until Shah s release date from prison on Aug. 30, 2028.

As of February, the media company owed Shah 34,500 her salary for one episode of the reality show, court papers show. And 25 of the disposable earnings on that or 5,128 is set to be garnished by the court to go toward the restitution, according to the court filings.

Given that Jen s on the hook to dish out a mountain of cash, I see what her real issue is with a photo she didn t authorize. She probably wants to smear on some prison lipstick shells of M&Ms from the commissary mixed with hot water and stage her own paid tabloid spread, a la former Bravo jailbird Teresa Giudice!
