This Glass-Skin Stick Is My Secret to Glowing Without Makeup
Get the Full StoryThere's nothing I love more than dewy, almost wet-looking skin. Unfortunately, I've been a dry skin girl my entire life, and although I consume water like I get paid to do it, I've accepted that at my core, my complexion will always feel parched. Luckily, I've found a good group of products to layer on that help keep my skin feeling moisturized, but whenever I'm vetting something new to add into my routine, you can bet the word "matte" is not something I tolerate.I'm all about layering on serums, milks, and creams to get the look I want, but more often than not, my skin slurps them up and immediately wants more. So, when I was introduced to a new product from Peach and Lily that promised to keep my skin looking glowy all day - without the need for makeup - my ears immediately perked up. About the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Luminizing Stick
This product is a skin-care makeup hybrid balm that highlights and gives a glass skin effect.
It has a silky texture with a sheer finish and does not offer color.
The key ingredients include sunflower seed oil, shea butter, and glycerin to lock in moisture and hydrate.
It's fragrance-free, cruelty-free, and vegan.
What I Like About the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Luminizing Stick
My favorite thing about this product has to be the fact that the highlight I get from it feels like makeup, but instead, it's skin care. While occasionally I feel "bad" for my skin when I layer on too much makeup, I don't have to worry about that with the luminizing stick - it's actually good for it.
As previously mentioned, my skin type is dry, and I layer on a lot of products to help it feel juicy. However, I'm also acne-prone, so the products I use have to keep my skin blemish-free, otherwise they're an immediate no. Thankfully, after using this product for a few weeks, I can safely say that it didn't irritate my skin at all.
I love how it immediately brightens up my undereye area or adds a nice sheen to the high points of my cheek or my cupid's bow without leaving a gross or sticky residue.
How to Use the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Luminizing Stick
After completing your skin-care routine, the brand recommends applying this product to either the high points of the face or all over for a luminous look. It can be worn on its own or layered with makeup.
Personally, I like to use this product two ways. On the days I go makeup-free, I add it underneath my eyes and on the high points of my cheeks for a little glow. I find that it really helps to brighten up my undereyes without leaving the area sticky. When I do wear makeup, I like to layer this over eye cream but before putting on concealer. I find that it helps my concealer not crease and gives it a little glow.
What to Consider Before Trying the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Luminizing Stick
One thing to consider before trying out the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Luminizing Stick is your skin type. If you have oily skin and you aren't looking to accentuate that, this product may not be for you or you'll want to be careful where you apply it . However, if you have normal to dry skin and you're looking for a product that will give you the look of a highlighter with skin-care benefits, then hurry up and hit add to cart.
