But according to a growing trend on TikTok, using your orgasms to manifest could be even more powerful.

Short for the "orgasm method," the O method is a manifestation technique that harnesses the energy of an orgasm to make your greatest desires reality. The idea behind the theory is that, by combining heightened sexual energy with a manifestation practice, you could see results more quickly. Similarly to orgasmic meditation though, the practice should not be abused or taken lightly.

As powerful as the female orgasm is though, spiritual medium Amanda Lieber isn't so sure about the popular method shared on TikTok. Below, she explains more on what the "O method" entails and whether it's as effective as the internet claims.

What Is the O Method?

"The O method is a manifestation technique that theoretically draws on the creative energy of the orgasm to help you manifest your desires," Lieber says. If you were going to try the O method, you would set an intention, engage in your normal masturbation routine, and then visualize your goal right as you reach orgasm.

"The idea behind this method is to visualize your desire as you begin to climax, and continue focusing on it and intensifying your vision until you orgasm," Lieber adds. Some people may even light a candle during the session or meditate beforehand.

According to some TikTok users who have tried the O method, it's the fastest manifesting technique. One content creator says it can work as fast as overnight. But according to Lieber, the "O method" may be more TikTok-lore than anything.

Does the O Method Work?

Manifestation focuses heavily on thoughts and beliefs, so if you think the O method will work, it will. "If the O method resonates with you on a deep level, there is no limiting what you might be able to call in," Lieber says.

That said, you may not need to add an orgasm into the mix to still get what you want. "Spiritual teachers have continually taught that sex and orgasms aren't the same as real love, meaning it doesn't carry the same high vibration," Lieber says. "In my experience, a pure intention that comes from the heart is most effective for manifestation."

This means that while your orgasm won't necessarily amplify your manifestation to the universe, it could still be a nice part of the process. Because yes to more orgasms always.

At the end of the day, if you really want to manifest something and put that energy into the universe, don't overcomplicate your method. "We're manifesting all day, every day, whether we know it or not," Lieber says. "You are a creative genius and can consciously manifest anything or anyone that your heart desires."

So how do you do this? Lieber says to focus on building self-love and self-compassion before anything. "When you are focused on loving and caring for yourself, you create a receptive environment," she says. In other words, you are literally telling the universe that you are ready to receive whatever you're manifesting.

And of course, you can add an orgasm to your practice. At the very least, you will have an orgasm. At the most, you may finally get that promotion. "You should always feel free to experiment with things that resonate with you, but all conscious manifestation truly requires is a pure-hearted intention and a focus on the divine love that's already inside you," Lieber says.
