No one has done more : Bigliest blasphemer Trump says he s done more for Christianity than anyone else, after Pope s passing

Get the Full StoryDonald J. Trump the man who, if you recall, once held a Bible upside down for a photo op after tear-gassing peaceful protesters. Now, in the wake of Pope Francis passing, Trump has managed to out-Trump himself. Nobody has done more for Christianity, no one has done more for religion of all types than me, Trump declared in a video that s currently making rounds on X. The timing couldn t be more tone-deaf as world leaders prepare to gather at the Vatican for Pope Francis s funeral scheduled for April 26. This is a man who has spent years pandering to evangelical voters while simultaneously living a life that reads like a checklist of the Seven Deadly Sins. Greed? Check. Pride? Oh, in spades. Lust? Well, let s just say Stormy Daniels probably has a few thoughts on that. Gluttony? Let s not even get started on those McDonald s feasts. Yet here he is, proclaiming himself the savior of the faith. Why? Because he sold Bibles. Yes, Trump s great contribution to Christianity was slapping some tacky patriot branding on the Good Book and hawking them to his followers. What s truly galling about Trump s latest claim is how it mocks the very essence of Christianity. Pope Francis, for all his flaws yes, the Catholic Church has its baggage , devoted his life to embodying humility and compassion. He washed the feet of prisoners, advocated for the poor, and called for mercy toward migrants and refugees. Meanwhile, Trump s idea of humility is bragging about having the best brain and the best words, and his idea of compassion is well, nonexistent. Claiming to have done more for Christianity than anyone else is offensive. His religious credentials have always been questionable. Despite claiming Presbyterian devotion, officials at his supposed church home, Marble Collegiate in Manhattan, have confirmed he was never an active member. When pressed about his favorite Bible verse during his campaign, Trump dodged the question with the spiritual agility of someone who s never actually cracked open the good book. So, no, Donald. You haven t done more for Christianity than anyone else. In fact, you ve done more to cheapen it, to exploit it, and to turn it into a sideshow for your ego. And if there s a God watching all of this, I imagine He s shaking His head and muttering, Bless their hearts.
