A Louisville man has been arrested for burglary and assault after authorities say he broke into a Florence home and assaulted a 13-year-old girl early Monday morning. Deputies apprehended 20-year-old Parker Kramer following a dramatic series of events involving gunfire, a foot chase, and a drone-assisted manhunt. At around 12:33 a.m. on April 28, 2025, Boone County Sheriff s deputies responded to a shots-fired call. A concerned father had reported finding an unknown adult male in his teenage daughter s bedroom. According to investigators, the father awoke to noises from his daughter s room and found Kramer naked beside the 13-year-old girl. After warning Kramer that he was calling the police, the father ran downstairs, retrieved a handgun, and returned. At that point, Kramer allegedly pushed past the father and bolted out the front door. The father chased Kramer outside and fired three rounds toward him as he fled. Kramer s driver s license photo tied to the car s registration helped identify him as the suspect. The father later confirmed Kramer s identity. The girl later said she believed Kramer was 15 years old and went to a nearby high school. Authorities launched a multi-agency search involving the Florence Police Department and deployed a drone for aerial surveillance. The drone proved instrumental in locating Kramer near Mt. Zion Road and I-75. Officers arrested him at 2:34 a.m. During an interview with a Boone County Sheriff s detective, Kramer admitted that he had traveled roughly 130 miles from Louisville to meet the young victim. These statements, along with the incident, led investigators to file additional charges of rape and sodomy. Officials charged Kramer with one count of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, two counts of Rape in the 2nd Degree, and one count of Sodomy in the 2nd Degree. He remains in custody at the Boone County Jail on a 250,000 cash bond. Boone County Sheriff Les K.
