No lingering doubt about his guilt: First witness in Diddy trial testifies and forces rapper s 3 daughters to exit courtroom
Get the Full StoryWarning: This article details alleged violence as well as physical and sexual abuse. The Sean Diddy Combs trial has officially begun. The witnesses have been picked, and day one was already gory and discomforting. People reports that the first witness was a male sex worker named Daniel Phillip. In the lead-up to the trial, all manner of allegations and accusers have emerged. Some claims even started and ended between the filing of the main RICO charges against Diddy. Phillip finally gave the court and the public details on how Diddy s infamous freak offs operated. He testified that he was initially hired to strip, but things escalated to prostitution with Cassie, in Diddy s presence. Diddy reportedly masked himself with a bandana but introduced himself to Phillip as being in the import-export business. Still, Phillip told the court he recognized Diddy s voice immediately. Cassie, of course, was the first to come forward with allegations. She was all but vindicated when surveillance footage showed Diddy physically attacking her. But according to Phillip, it was Cassie who paid him up to 6,000 whenever he joined them. Phillip went on to give a disturbing account of being asked by Diddy and Cassie to urinate on her. He said he only began to understand the two s dynamic after seeing Diddy beat Cassie. My thoughts were that this was someone with unlimited power, Phillip told the court. And chances are that, even if I did go to the police, I might still lose my life. Cassie Ventura took the stand a day later. According to TMZ, she told the court she participated in the freak offs because she feared that saying no would make Diddy angry. She entered Diddy s orbit at 21, initially thinking it would help her career. But soon, she realized the freak offs were her job. Some lasted up to four days. Cassie told the court that in the 10 years they were together, her life was filled with arguments and violence. She said her entire body was often covered in bruises and black eyes. She also revealed that she gave the government a laptop containing freak-off videos as evidence, for them to use as they see fit. The reactions from the first two days were as electric as expected. On X, people had all kinds of opinions. But for most, the thing that disturbed them most was Diddy bringing his daughters to court. People reported that Diddy s 3 daughters had to excuse themselves when Phillip was testifying about his graphic activities with Diddy and Cassie. One user called it narcissism. this just shows how narcissistic diddy is. bc even IF he was innocent we know he s not even IF, why would you allow your young daughters to sit through an hear all these sick accounts of sexual deviancy https: t.co cTa7EWXjnk BIBA WILLIAMS buwi6 May 13, 2025 Another said this depraved decision of willingly exposing his daughters to all this is proof of the kind of man Diddy really is. So maybe I'm the only one but even though I don't think Diddy's daughters should be there in the first place, I don't think at all that they're too young to hear about the kind of the man their Daddy is. Just so there's no lingering doubt about his guilt. pic.twitter.com ZVO1R6lYUv TheMainCharacter BourgeoisDoll May 12, 2025 If this is what came out in the opening statements, one can only imagine what else will follow. For now, Diddy s case looks like one where a long line of people will come forward to describe the villainous atmosphere he created for those who worked under him. It s likely that his defense will focus on discrediting the men and women brave enough to explain how he ran his freak offs. But there s a segment of the public watching not to find out if Diddy is guilty, but to see who else might be implicated.
